Burn Evolved vs Burn XT: Which is Better?
Here is our Burn Evolved vs Burn XT face-off. Which one is better for helping you lose weight and have more energy? Which is safer and higher-quality? We bring them face-to-face in order to find the answer for you – starting with a brief summary.
Burn Evolved vs Burn XT Summary
While neither Burn Evolved nor Burn XT make it to our “top fat burner” list, Burn XT is the winner of this particular comparison. It relies on fewer stimulants to achieve its effects, making it safer. Burn XT is also cheaper than Burn Evolved ($29.99 vs $49.00) and it contains a higher dosage of EGCG. Sculpt Nation’s Burn relies too much on stimulants to give off an illusion that it works. Among these, we have the underresearched Rauwolscine and banned Yohimbine. That said, both products are missing some key ingredients that would make them more effective at burning off unwanted fat and helping with appetite.

Burn Evolved vs Burn XT Overview
About Burn Evolved
Burn Evolved is a natural thermogenic fat burner from the American company Sculpt Nation. Coming in sleek-looking black bottles that contain 60 capsules each, Burn Evolved is designed to help you:
- Burn fat
- Increase energy levels
- Suppress appetite
Pretty straightforward. This is exactly what you would expect from any high-quality fat burner. But, as well know, there is a lot of junk out there that it can be difficult to tell which ones actually work and which don’t.
In the case of Burn Evolved, it backs its claims on its official website by explaining its ingredients and the research behind them. Below, after going over Burn XT, we will break down the science of both supplements’ ingredients to see whether it’s in line with what the companies are showing us on their websites.
About Burn XT
Burn XT is marketed as a “high-energy” thermogenic diet pill. It is currently one of the best-sellers on Amazon, with many positive reviews from users.
However, is the hype the result of a great marketing campaign and paid reviews, or because the supplement actually works? Perhaps both?
Jacked Factory says that Burn XT contains clinically effective doses of researched ingredients. Among these we get Capsaicin, the key thermogenic ingredient in the formula.
If you’re new to fat burners, you may wonder what the term thermogenic means.
Simply put, thermogenic compounds accelerate your body’s metabolism by making it work harder in order to maintain healthy core body temperature.
This sounds good on the paper, but can Burn XT actually deliver on the claims? Is it better than Sculpt Nation Burn Evolved? Let’s find out!

Burn Evolved’s Ingredients
Here is an image showing Burn Evolved’s ingredient label:

In case that image didn’t load properly for you or if it isn’t clear enough, here is a list of ingredients in Burn Evolved:
- Epigallocatechin (EGCG) (green tea extract) – 300mg
- Apple Cider Vinegar Powder – 300mg
- Cayenne Fruit Extract (as Capsimax) – 100mg
- Caffeine – 100mg
- Grains of Paradise – 30mg
- Yohimbine hydrochloride – 3mg
- Rauwolscine – 2mg
The good thing about Sculpt Nation Burn’s ingredients is that they aren’t hidden behind proprietary blends. The label is transparent, so you know what you’re paying for.
As for the ingredients themselves, do we think they are capable of helping you burn more fat and lose weight faster? We believe that the answer is yes.
We’ve found Burn Evolved’s formula to be effective for promoting a faster metabolism and boosting up your energy levels. This is thanks to a combination of the green tea extract, cayenne pepper, and grains of paradise. These ingredients are well-researched and within optimal dosages as well.
Do we think that Burn Evolved is the best fat burner formula, though?
Not really. There are a couple of serious problems with the formula that should be addressed.
For one, Burn Evolved relies too much on stimulants to achieve its effects. Out of 7 Burn’s active ingredients, 3 are stims! One of those we already mentioned; caffeine. It is lightly dosed and shouldn’t cause side effects for most people. The other two stimulants are the issue.
Yohimbine is a compound known for its aggressive effects. It works by stimulating your body’s flight-or-fight response, putting you into a stressed state. While this will obviously make you burn more calories, it also comes with negative side effects. Because of this, Yohimbine is banned in several countries, including the UK, Australia, and Canada.
As for rauwolscine, it is an underresearched compound. A stimulant by nature, the full extent of Rauwolscine’s long-term effects isn’t yet clear, but some studies show Rauwolscine could be even more aggressive than Yohimbine. This is especially concerning as there are already 2 stimulants in Burn Evolved.
Aside from the stimulants, another problem the supplement has is the use of ineffective or unproven ingredients. Apple Cider vinegar, while healthy, isn’t actually proven to burn fat – at least not to an extent where you would notice it. It is taking capsule space in Burn Evolved that could be used for a proven and more effective appetite suppressant such as Glucomannan.
It’s also important to note that some ingredients in Burn Evolved are slightly underdosed. The 300mg of green tea extract is a little low compared to what the market-leading supplements use for achieving fat burn – 500mg.
All things considered, the formula of Sculpt Nation Burn looks like a mixed bag. It should definitely work at increasing your energy levels, metabolic activity, and ultimately, helping you lose some weight. However, the way it achieves this is a bit concerning. It uses too many stimulants – some of which have unknown long-term side effects – to give off an illusion that it works. This makes it unreliable and not safe as a long-term option.
Burn XT’s Ingredients
Here is the ingredient label image of Burn XT:

Here is a list of ingredients in Burn XT as shown on the image:
- Acetyl L-Carnitine HCl (700mg)
- Green Tea Leaf Extract (45% EGCG) (450mg)
- Caffeine Anhydrous (270mg)
- Capsimax Cayenne Pepper Fruit Extract (50mg)
- BioPerine Black Pepper Extract (5mg)
Along with those, we have only 2 filler ingredients, which are hypromellose (capsule) and leucine.
Alright, so how does Burn XT’s label look? Are the ingredients any good for burning fat and reducing appetite? Can the ingredients do what the manufacturer claims? Are they safe?
The answer is that Burn XT’s formula looks decent. It is definitely better than some fat burners out there which use totally ineffective or untested ingredients. Another great thing about Burn XT is that you can clearly see the ingredient dosages, so you know exactly how much you’re putting into your body.
In our experience, Burn XT is definitely able to achieve ae level of fat burning. Green Tea, Cayenne Pepper, and Caffeine are all excellent and well-researched compounds when it comes to fat loss. Together, they should boost your energy levels, increase your metabolic speed, and enhance fat burning at a cellular level. Studies show these ingredients work – and this is why they’re often used in the best fat burners. BioPerine, aka, Black Pepper extract is another good addition – it helps you properly absorb other compounds in the formula.
However, this is about as good as it gets. Although solid, Burn XT’s formula still has a lot of room for improvement.
You can expect only so much from three ingredients alone. While green tea, caffeine, and cayenne pepper are good ingredients, they aren’t as potent as a fat burner formula with additional proven ingredients – such as chromium, vitamin D, and B vitamins.
What’s more, the dosage of key ingredients is a little off too. Green tea is slightly underdosed compared to the optimal effective dosage for fat burning that the top-rated products use (500mg), but the bigger concern is cayenne pepper. At just 50mg per serving, it’s nowhere near the effective studied amount of 100mg. In some cases, you’ll see that the really good fat burners use 150mg of cayenne pepper extract or more. This is due to the fact that the thermogenic effect of cayenne pepper is far more substantial at doses of 100mg or higher.
Then there is the issue of Burn XT not having an appetite suppressant. Sure, the low-dosed caffeine is likely to give you some level of hunger control, but it is nowhere near as long-lasting or as potent as some of the best natural ingredients like Glucomannan (Konjac Fiber).
Last but not least, Burn XT is also using L-Carnitine which, despite what the hype would make you believe, is not actually proven to burn fat significantly. While it is correct that ALCAR can enhance the efficacy of our mitochondria at using fat for energy, this effect has been overexaggerated by supplement companies to make it appear like a solid weight loss ingredient. But when you look at the solid, robust human research, evidence is mixed, leaning more towards the side that ALCAR is ineffective. Even the studies that show that carnitine works for weight loss, the effects are mild at best.
As a whole then, Burn XT looks like a mediocre fat burner. It does have a few solid ingredients that should help you burn more calories and feel more energy through the day, but pretty much the same effect can be achieved with coffee alone, and for cheaper. If you have issues with recurring food cravings, Burn XT is unlikely to help you much. There are more comprehensive and more effective fat burners available on the market, without question.
Which Formula Looks Better Overall?
We’ve found both Burn Evolved and Burn XT to lack in some areas. While they have some common ingredients, Burn Evolved contains more stimulants, so its effects on burning fat and amping up your energy levels are more potent. In our experience, Burn XT’s ingredient profile is too weak to cause substantial results.
Despite this, Burn Evolved is no better overall. The fact that it relies so much on stimulants to achieve its effects make it a potentially dangerous option. Unless you’re used to using high-stim fat burners or pre-workout supplements, it’s best to practice caution.
Not to mention that both Burn XT and Burn Evolved are missing some important ingredients, including an appetite suppressant.
Fortunately, there are fat burners on the market that can help you achieve the same or better weight loss results in a safer and more controlled way.
Burn Evolved vs Burn XT Side Effects: Which is Safer?
Burn XT is the winner in this department. It contains fewer stimulants so which naturally makes it less risky in terms of side effects. If you are prone to jitters, insomnia, or energy swings from consuming caffeine, then exercise caution with Burn Evolved as it contains 100mg of the stimulant, plus two additional stimulants.
Pricing & Value
Burn Evolved costs $49 per bottle (30 servings). You can reduce this cost if you opt for a recurring subscription and regular delivery of the product.
Meanwhile, Burn XT will set you back $29.99. A bottle should last you a full month if you take the recommended 2 capsules per day.
Takeaway
Which one is the best diet pill: Sculpt Nation’s Burn Evolved or Jacked Factory’s Burn XT?
To us, neither one is the best. If we had to choose between the two, we would go with Burn XT as a safer and lighter option. It contains a few solid ingredients that can aid your weight loss if you’re consistent with your diet and lifestyle. It is also cheaper so it could be worth giving a go if you aren’t looking for anything stronger.
Burn Evolved, on the other hand, comes with a high risk of negative side effects from multiple stimulants. What’s more, the product is too expensive for what it offers. It is missing several core ingredients that would make it more effective.
If you are serious about finding an effective and safe fat burner supplement, we recommend doing more research as there are definitely better options currently available on the market.
