Burn XT vs Thermo XT: Which is Better?

Burn XT vs Thermo XT

Today we’ll be looking into two of the most popular fat burners from Jacked Factory – Burn XT and Thermo XT. We’ll compare them to see which is better in terms of effectiveness for weight loss, appetite suppression, energy levels, as well as inspecting them for safety.

Let’s being with a brief summary to get an idea of what you can expect from these two products.

Burn XT vs Thermo XT Summary

While Burn XT has the edge over Thermo XT between the two, neither one is a good weight loss supplement in our eyes. In Burn XT’s case, it’s using too few proven ingredients to make a difference. The only ingredients it has that are properly dosed and somewhat effective are caffeine and green tea extract. The rest of Burn XT’s formula is either unproven or underdosed compounds!

As for Thermo XT, it contains far higher amounts of stimulants, including Rauwolscine and two different forms of caffeine – totaling over 300mg per serving. Thermo XT should give you a far stronger energy kick, but it will only last a short while before you’re potentially faced with a harsh comedown. There are more effective and safe supplements on the market than either of these two, for sure.

Burn XT vs Thermo XT Overview

Burn XT

Burn XT Bottle

Burn XT is a high-energy thermogenic fat burner. It’s currently one of the top-selling Amazon weight loss pills, and one of the most popular fat burners you’ll find online in general.

However, is the hype the result of good marketing or effective ingredients – or perhaps both?

Jacked Factory claims that Burn XT is packed with clinically-evidenced ingredients in effective doses. This includes Capsaicin, a red chilli extract that should increase calorie burn throughout the day.

Sounds good, but how well will Burn XT actually work for you? And how does it compare to its in-house competitor? Let’s have a closer look.

Thermo XT

Thermo XT Bottle

At first glance, there’s not too much difference between Burn XT and Thermo XT. The marketing behind both supplements is fairly similar – they’re both called “thermogenics,” and they both promise the same benefits. That is, that they will help you burn more fat, increase calorie consumption, and reduce your appetite so you’re less likely to be snacking too much.

Much like Burn XT, Thermo XT contains 60 capsules per bottle and as you’ll see below, costs the same. The dosage is the same – 2 capsules per day with water before your meals. While this dosage is simple and easy to remember, we can’t help but wonder will it be as effective as other fat burners that have 3 or more servings per day. From our experience, having multiple servings helps to prolong the fat burning effects as the ingredients have more time to circulate in your system.

So, disregarding the hype and all the fancy marketing claims, which of these two is really the best? The answer all comes down to their ingredients. Let’s not waste too much time and take a closer look at what science says.

Burn XT vs Thermo XT Ingredients

There are quite a few differences between Burn XT’s and Thermo XT’s formulas. The most obvious one is the number of ingredients; Burn XT has 5 while Thermo XT has 8.

Overall, Thermo XT looks like a significantly more potent formula. It has higher doses of stimulants, including caffeine, which should give you more energy. However, it also comes with a significantly higher risk of side effects than Burn XT.

See for yourself.

Burn XT

Here are the ingredients of Burn XT:

  • Acetyl L-Carnitine HCl (700mg)
  • Green Tea Leaf Extract (45% EGCG) (450mg)
  • Caffeine Anhydrous (270mg)
  • Capsimax Cayenne Pepper Fruit Extract (50mg)
  • BioPerine Black Pepper Extract (5mg)

As shown on Burn XT’s supplement facts label:

Burn XT Ingredients

Burn XT has a few excellent ingredients for weight loss. These include Green Tea Extract providing 202.5mg of the key fat burning compound EGCG, Caffeine Anhydrous, and Cayenne Pepper. These compounds together should help to raise your energy levels and metabolic activity – leading to higher calorie burn. However, there are some issues.

An awful lot of Burn XT’s formula is taken up by an ineffective and unproven ingredient – Acetyl L-Carnitine. You might have seen the hype surrounding this particular ingredient, but when it comes to human clinical research, it’s yet to prove with certainty that Carnitine can do anything for weight loss. Carnitine is shown to be useful for liver health and muscle recovery, but it’s far from the best fat burning compound.

There’s also the high caffeine dose. 270mg of the stimulant per serving might be a little too much for some individuals and can cause negative reactions (more on that soon).

Lastly, Burn XT has some of its core ingredients underdosed – mainly, cayenne pepper. It uses half the amount of what the current best-rated fat burners use as the minimum effective dose. Burn XT is also missing many of the best natural weight loss ingredients, including an appetite suppressant like Glucomannan and a blood sugar stabilizer like chromium.

Safe to say, Burn XT’s formula has got a lot of room for improvement! If you don’t mind the slightly underdosed ingredients, and a bit over-the-top caffeine servings (be sure to watch your daily caffeine intake outside of this supplement), then Burn XT could be a decent option for you. But overall, we’re disappointed, it’s nowhere near the market-leading formulas.

But is it better than Thermo XT? Let’s have a look.

Thermo XT

Here are the ingredients in Thermo XT:

  • EGCG (Green Tea Extract) (300mg)
  • Caffeine Anhydrous (250mg)
  • L-Theanine (125mg)
  • Infinergy DiCaffeine Malate (75mg)
  • Coleus Forskolin Extract (70mg)
  • Capsimax Red Pepper Extract (50mg)
  • Black Pepper Extract (5mg)
  • Rauwolscine

As shown on Thermo XT’s label:

Thermo XT Ingredients

On the whole, Thermo XT looks like a far more potent formula than Burn XT. In fact, it’s one of the strongest and most stimulant-packed fat burners we’ve seen in a while. There’s far more caffeine in Thermo XT – 300mg of caffeine anhydrous alone, plus some caffeine as DiCaffeine Malate. This form of caffeine is said to be more stable and provide cleaner effects.

There’s also a stronger dose of EGCG from green tea in Thermo XT, as compared to Burn XT. It also contains Coleus Forskohlii which shows in research some promise as a natural weight loss aid – it can help your body break down fatty cells more efficiently.

BUT – there’s a big but with Thermo XT. It’s not a perfect supplement by any means.

Thermo XT contains so many stimulants that we believe most people will not be able to tolerate it well. On top of the massive caffeine dose, there’s also another stimulant in the formula – Rauwolscine. This compound is underrresearched in humans, but from what studies show so far, it’s similar to Yohimbine, a substance that’s banned in countries like Australia and Canada for its extremely harsh effects on the heart.

Needless to say, Thermo XT is not for the faint of heart.

It’s a fat burner that can leave you floored if you’re not experienced with high doses of stimulants. We think they stuffed the formula with so much caffeine to give off an illusion that it works. In reality, all it provides is a huge and short-lasting energy kick, leaving you with a massive comedown later on.

Don’t let the inclusion of L-Theanine fool you. This ingredient is known for helping to smooth out the side effects of caffeine, but only if that caffeine isn’t so highly dosed or coupled with other stimulants in the first place! Considering the huge dosage of stimulants in Thermo XT, L-Theanine can’t do much damage control here.

Which Formula Looks Better Overall?

So, which ingredient profile is better – Burn XT or Thermo XT? Neither, actually.

Burn XT contains some caffeine and green tea, but that’s about it. It should give you an energy kick, but you can basically get the same thing from a strong cup of coffee for much less money. The rest of its ingredients are either completely unproven, or underdosed – making the whole formula slim and ineffective. Not to mention the lack of better, proven thermogenis and appetite suppressants.

Thermo XT is the complete opposite. It’s all but a weak supplement. It has tons of caffeine + Rauwolscine, a potent stimulant combination that can give you an extremely high rush of energy for hours. During this period, you will be smashing weights easily, and burning more calories than you normally would. But this comes at the cost. The cost being energy crashes, potential anxiety attacks, and even high blood pressure and palpitations.

If you’re okay with using high doses of stimulants, then by all means, Thermo XT could give you the effects you’re looking for. But are there safer and more effective natural weight loss supplements out there overall? There definitely are!

Burn XT vs Thermo XT Side Effects: Which is Safer?

Between the two, Burn XT is the safer supplement. While it does have quite a bit of caffeine (270mg per serving), it’s not comparable to Thermo XT’s stimulant combination of 300mg of pure caffeine anhydrous, 75mg of dicaffeine malate, and 1mg of the potentially harmful Rauwolscine. Keep in mind, 1mg might seem like a small dosage, but for an ingredient like Rauwolscine, it’s plenty!

So on the whole, if you’re looking for something that is less likely to cause negative reactions, Burn XT definitely takes the edge in that department. Although, as we said, there are better products on the market than either one if you’re looking for effective and safe fat loss results.

Pricing & Value

Burn XT and Thermo XT both cost $29.99/bottle on the Jacked Factory website. Each product has 60 capsules per bottle – lasting you a full month if you follow the recommended 2-cap-a-day dose.

Takeaway

Which is more effective at burning excess body fat? Which will suppress your appetite more? Which is the best choice overall?

Between the two, we rate Jacked Factory’s Burn XT as the safer choice. It should give you some energy thanks to caffeine and a moderate dose of green tea. You can also expect increased levels of calorie expenditure, but only so much from these two ingredients alone.

If you’re read our whole review, you’re aware we don’t recommend either Burn XT or Thermo XT. Burn XT is missing too many ingredients to be called a complete weight loss supplement, while Thermo XT contains too high doses of aggressive stimulants, which makes any potential benefits not worth the risk.

If you’re serious about losing weight and keeping the fat from coming back, then there are better long-term options on the market. Supplements that use better-researched ingredients, and in clinically-tested dosages for maximum effectiveness and safety.
